The name changed and the direction became clearer. The city development company of Varkaus, Navitas Kehitys Oy, has changed its name and is now Business Warkaus Oy.
The name change is part of our broader brand refresh, which supports the implementation of the new strategy and sharpens our role as a key developer of industries.
The first brand refresh will be rolled out on businesswarkaus.fi and on social media channels. From there, it will gradually be rolled out to all places where Business Warkaus meets companies, partners, and other stakeholders.
In a new perspective on vitality work
The former Navitas Corporate Services brand was in use from 2018 onwards. In addition to Navitas Development Ltd., the city’s property companies Varkaus Taitotalo Oy and Keski-Savon Teollisuuskylä Oy were also part of the raincoat brand. The joint brand unified the services of various operators and served this purpose well for almost eight years.
In recent years, the world around us has changed, and so have we. Our company’s role as a promoter of regional vitality has become more prominent. At the same time, the need to communicate more clearly about who we are and what we work towards has grown. The goal of the new brand is to build even stronger recognition for both the development company and the entire Varkaus region, and to make the region’s opportunities visible both nationally and internationally.
Now the real estate companies continue forward as a whole and we continue our vital work as Business World – in a new 45-degree angle!
We have found our style
In the visual identity of Business Warkaus, the 45-degree cutting angle familiar from the city of Warkaus is repeated, which runs through the angular B element of the logo, in graphic forms and in the way of constructing the appearance.
At the same time, this angle symbolizes a change of direction for us – a turning point where the traditional industrial city turns towards the new, where strong expertise combines with renewable energy and innovative industry. We are not moving forward directly, but consciously and determinedly, a little more boldly than the usual lines.

Name and brand: In the future, we will operate under the name Business Warkaus. Our company's official name is Business Warkaus Oy.
Website: Our new address is businesswarkaus.fi. The homepage and contact information are already visible; we are still refining a few details before the website fully launches.
